Come, explore PNG Jewellers’ Bidar Inspired Jewels

Love to infuse your style with traditional arts? Then, your wait is over. Your favourite online jewellery store – www.pngadgil.com is now bursting at seams with an eclectic range of Bidar Inspired Jewels

For the uninitiated, Bidriwork is a metal handcraft that originated in ancient Persia, came to India with Mughals and later, evolved further by intermingling with local styles here. Years later, from the confines of Bidar, the art form also travelled to different parts of India and with that, Hyderabad became another vibrant centre, after Bidar, for this metal craft. Today, it is also practised in Purnia in Bihar, Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, Aurangabad in Maharashtra and Murshidabad in West Bengal.

For creating Bidriware, traditionally one field metal is encrusted into another in the form of a wire. But since inlaying of gold is rare these days, instead of using the oxidising technique, we have employed enamelling to achieve the contracting effect while developing this collection. So, the black component in these majestic jewels are black Meena, not the oxidised zinc. But talk about impact, it is as mesmerising as Bidriwork.

Thoughtfully created to sparkle up your everyday style while adding a mystic charm to your party look, the collection is replete with a myriad of stunning earrings and pendants to choose from. Although the designs are inspired by the art that dates back to 14th century CE, each design is contemporary to the core. You can wear it to the party, at work and also, on the go. With so much going for it, surely, our Bidar Inspired Jewels will become a go-to option for those looking for something understated as well as versatile.
